About

Ed Chaudron, CFO, COO
We can write detailed captions here about Ed's Tau Cross for mobile display.

Ed was born in a Franciscan parish in East Rutherford, NJ. He was baptized and raised by the friars, and educated by them at Siena College, where he earned a degree in social work. As you might have expected, he went right into banking (darn student loans!) and then worked as business manager and volunteer coordinator before becoming one of four original employees of what today is Franciscan Friars Charities.

Today, Ed manages operations and financials for FFC, which includes analyzing financial data, implementing strategies, and ensuring the integrity of company’s vision. Typical tasks for a CFO/COO, but at FFC, those tasks create beacons of hope and reach across the world to empower kindness and enable life-saving outreach.

With two titles, Ed is a man of many meetings, but he still makes time to support colleagues and new employees. He is also a man of many interests who loves to cook, watch the sunrise, and sing in his car (no audience allowed!) along with a diverse range of musical artists.

“It's easy to get lost in the weeds sometimes when you're in meetings non-stop and designing systems. But when you see what that work was able to produce, it's like, wow. It's really more of a ministry than a job. It's all about helping other people.”
